The Dynasty House Church

The Dean of Student Affairs encouraged me - The Dynasty House Church

Fear has kept many men and women back from launching their dreams and on the path of their success; I care to ask quickly what’s that fear or concern if taking care of would make you go straight to the path of your life? What’s that stronghold or thought that has paralyzed you from acting?

A quick flashback to several years ago…

In 1996 I was at the University of Lagos, Nigeria after my High School-(SSCE) Exams to pursue my admission into the school… a lovely and amiable College in a great City.

I did all I could to get in persistently as I naturally loved the ambience and arrangement of the Campus lifestyle and set-up. Unfortunately, the admission didn’t go through… very painful!

I will tell you what I did at the last minute… I walked straight to the Office of the Dean of Engineering, Professor Oye Ibidapo Obe who I learnt passed away not too long ago. He said these words to me and I have held it in hope from that time till date…’ Young man oh, I just sent my final list yesterday – So sorry, but I can see that you have a great future ahead of you!

Please do not be discouraged please try again in the nearest future… It did actually work so I held those words dear to my heart and life in hope that one day it would come to pass.

I eventually went to a university in another location and I was glad God led me there.

Sent off without a penny to your name?

In fact, except for the grace of God—the God of my grandfather Abraham, even the glorious God of Isaac, my father—you would have sent me off without a penny to my name. But God has seen your cruelty and my hard work, and that is why he appeared to you last night.”

Dear reader – Kindly patiently read the account of a disgruntled Staff or Worker/ Minister whose wages/ salary and entitlements were not paid appropriately- as and when due before, during, and when exiting his Master- He got tired of the whole thing – Politics, etc and felt he could move on with his life but there was a secret to this confidence of abandoning ALL – which I would shed more light on subsequently.

Kindly read his account below and do not fail to read a Work experience account too that I would share with you later in this book about my third place of professional Work Experience.

Gen 31:38-42

Twenty years I’ve been with you, and all that time I cared for your ewes and goats so that they produced healthy offspring, and I never touched one ram of yours for food. 39 If any were attacked and killed by wild animals, did I show them to you and ask you to reduce the count of your flock? No, I took the loss. You made me pay for every animal stolen from the flocks, whether I could help it or not.[a] 40 I worked for you through the scorching heat of the day, and through the cold and sleepless nights. 41 Yes, twenty years—fourteen of them earning your two daughters, and six years to get the flock! And you have reduced my wages ten times! 42 In fact, except for the grace of God—the God of my grandfather Abraham, even the glorious God of Isaac, my father—you would have sent me off without a penny to my name. But God has seen your cruelty and my hard work, and that is why he appeared to you last night.”

Several people have been in this quagmire at one time or the other in their life either with a difficult Superior or Boss that has taken advantage of their service, deliverables, and unquantifiable contributions to an establishment or Organisation; hence under heavy frustration of neglect and feeling despised many feel the need to move to the next level of destiny.

The challenge here’s that the Boss might not be willing to support your dream, aspiration/ drive to venture into the next level- So, what would you now do? Would you rather stay behind or follow your heart to the next level? What of the conflicting thoughts of “What if it doesn’t work as planned would you now decide to pack your bags and return to beg or asked to be pardoned that what you did was very out of scope?

Ever been dismissed, sacked, or asked to leave a job role or position without being prepared for such a rash decision taken by strategic individuals or corporate faculties… So, what would you do with the fears and strange thoughts…? What if starting out on my own might not really work out? Then you would need to see the invisible!
